New board member and officers at the Lourie Center

COLUMBIA, SC – The Lourie Center held their annual meeting on June 25, 2015 and voted in a new board member and the officers for their 2015-2016 fiscal year.
Ms Erin Cook, J.D., LL.M. was added to the board of directors. Cook is an estate planner and attorney, the owner of Estate Planning of SC, LLC. Her practice concentrates on both taxable and nontaxable estate planning, probate and trust administration, prenuptial agreements, and estate and trust fiduciary litigation.
Cook is a member of the following professional organizations: Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar Association, Columbia Estate Planning Council, and Columbia Tax Study Group. She is a frequent lecturer on tax, estate planning, and probate and trust administration issues. She is also involved with the Junior League of Columbia, Women in Philanthropy, Alliance for Women, Young Leaders Society of the United Way, and Community Opportunity Resource.
Also confirmed were the board member officers: John Hutto, Board Chair; Wally Graves, Vice Chair; Laura Spells, Treasurer; Gail Wilson-Giarratano, Secretary.
