New Creative Hub For Kids Celebrates Grand Opening and Packed May Schedule in Fountain Inn
May 17, 2026Local families looking for a creative outlet for their children have a new destination to look forward to this month. Bloomhouse Studio, a fresh addition to the Fountain Inn community specializing in kids’ art classes, camps, and preschool programming, has announced its official grand opening alongside a jam-packed lineup of interactive events for the late May season.
The studio, located in the heart of Fountain Inn, is kicking off its launch with a celebratory Grand Opening Open Studio event on Saturday, May 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event invites community members and parents to tour the new space and experience firsthand the hands-on art environments designed for young creators.
Following the grand opening, Bloomhouse Studio will immediately roll out a diverse schedule of specialized workshops and labs targeting children from toddlers to young teens. Studio organizers note that registration for several marquee sessions is already filling up rapidly.
Highlights from the upcoming May schedule include:
-
“Is It Cake?!” Mini Day Camp / Workshop (May 26, 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.): Inspired by popular illusionary baking trends, this highly anticipated workshop is designed for older children aged 6 to 12 years old.
-
Process Art Lab (May 27 & May 30, 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.): Tailored for kids aged 4 to 6, this program focuses on the experience of creating art rather than just the final product, allowing young children to explore textures and mediums freely.
-
Tiny Art Explorers & Slime Lab (May 28): A multi-generational day featuring a sensory experience for toddlers (ages 1.5 to 2.5) from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a messy, high-energy Slime Lab for kids aged 4 to 10 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
-
Play + Make Playgroup (May 29, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.): A community-focused hour for children aged 3 to 5 to socialize and craft simultaneously.
“Our mini day camps and our Process Art Labs are filling spots quickly,” the studio shared in a statement, emphasizing that early registration is highly encouraged for families wanting to secure a spot before the summer rush.
The introduction of Bloomhouse Studio aims to fill a growing demand for sensory-rich, experiential learning and creative play spaces in the Upstate area.
