New Delivery Service ‘NeighborhoodGo’ Launches in Laurens County with Community-Focused Approach

Laurens County just got a little more connected.

NeighborhoodGo, a new local delivery service, officially launched Monday, June 16, offering residents a more affordable and community-centered way to get meals delivered from their favorite restaurants—whether at home, the office, or anywhere in between.

Created by Laurens County native Kelly Sullivan, the idea for NeighborhoodGo was born out of conversations with neighbors and small business owners alike.

“We kept hearing the same thing over and over,” Kelly said. “People who drive for national delivery apps were barely breaking even with rising gas prices, and customers were frustrated by the inflated menu prices and extra fees. On top of that, many of our local restaurants aren’t even on those big platforms. We knew there had to be a better way.”

How It Works

NeighborhoodGo offers delivery from any restaurant in Laurens County. Customers pay the same price as if they were picking up the food themselves—no surprise charges or inflated costs.

Delivery fees are simple and transparent:

• $7 flat rate for deliveries within 10 miles

• $1 per additional mile beyond the initial 10

Beyond convenience, NeighborhoodGo is about building community. Whether it’s a local wanting a quiet night in or someone sending a meal to an elderly loved one in town, the service is designed to meet everyday needs with a personal touch.

Currently, deliveries are focused on restaurant orders, but the team has plans to expand into retail pickups and possibly personal shopping services in the near future.

Kelly, who grew up in Laurens and now lives in Clinton with her husband Stephen, said the goal is to grow gradually while staying true to the mission.

“This is about more than delivery—it’s about taking care of each other and supporting our local businesses in a practical, meaningful way,” she said.
