New Korean eatery Bibimbox celebrates grand opening in Columbia

The City of Columbia is welcoming a flavorful new addition to its culinary scene this week. Bibimbox, a Korean kitchen and wings restaurant, will host its grand opening celebration on Thursday, May 29 at 10:50 a.m. at 275 Park Terrace Drive, Suite #800. The event will be attended by Councilwoman Aditi Bussells, representatives from the City of Columbia’s Economic Development Office, and the Bibimbox team.

After a successful soft opening, Bibimbox is officially launching its full menu, featuring popular Korean dishes such as Korean Fried Chicken, rice bowls, spicy tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes), and other comfort food favorites. To mark the occasion, the restaurant will be offering a series of special promotions and giveaways throughout the day.

Adding a sweet twist to the experience, Bibimbox will also debut Kumo Kumo Café, an Asian-inspired dessert café located inside the restaurant. Kumo Kumo will serve up soft serve ice cream, specialty drinks, and sweet treats perfect for a post-meal indulgence.

Bibimbox is showing its appreciation for the local community with a full slate of grand opening perks and prizes. Here’s a taste of what guests can expect:

$50 Gift Card Giveaway: Columbia locals can enter to win a $50 Bibimbox gift card by following @eatbibimbox.cola on Instagram, liking the giveaway post, and tagging three friends. The winner will be announced on May 28, just ahead of the opening.

First 50 Guests in Line: The first 50 customers through the door on opening day will receive a free soft serve voucher from Kumo Kumo Café and a bonus entry into the grand prize giveaway.

Grand Prize Giveaway: In-store on May 29, guests can earn entries into a major prize drawing by placing an order and following the restaurant’s Instagram account. Bonus entries are available for those who line up before the doors open at 11:00 a.m.

Sunday–Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
