New senior sales executive joins Avtec

Global Technology Sales Leader to Cultivate Business Relationships for Avtec, Inc.

LEXINGTON, SC – Avtec Inc., the leading independent provider of pure Internet Protocol (IP) dispatch console systems for Radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP) and telephony applications, hired technology sales veteran John Rosati as senior vice president of sales. The change in organization was announced today by Avtec President Michael Branning.

Rosati has delivered significant sales results in roles for technology companies like Apple, Motorola, and Harris Corporation – market leaders known for setting the benchmarks in technical innovation. This experience makes Rosati an ideal fit for a company like Avtec, a pacesetter for advanced dispatch technology used in utility, transportation, public safety, business, and government applications.

As a member of Avtec’s executive leadership team, Rosati will lead the company’s direct and indirect sales efforts, strategic partnerships, and business development strategies – ensuring that existing and prospective customers have access to the right command center solution for their telephony and RoIP dispatch environments.

Rosati joins Avtec from Communications International (Ci), where he spent six years as vice president of sales and marketing for the government systems integration company. As a member of the leadership team at Ci, Rosati helped the company expand into international markets, acquire a software company and capture large projects throughout the United States. Prior to Ci, Rosati spent 11 years cultivating state and local government utility contracts throughout the Midwestern United States for Harris Corporation.

Earlier in his career, Rosati held roles at Motorola and Apple where he had responsibility for expanding and developing new markets while protecting and enhancing established consumer bases.
