Nexsen Pruet attorney Devon Riley named Member

CHARLESTON, SC – Nexsen Pruet has named attorney Devon Turner Riley of the firm’s Charleston office as a Member (Partner) effective January 1, 2017. She joined Nexsen Pruet in 2014 as Special Counsel with the Business Litigation group.
Riley focuses her practice on Title IX, where she is routinely called upon by colleges, universities and other educational institutions to conduct investigations into issues related to sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking and sexual and gender-based harassment on campus. She counsels institutions in policy writing and implementation of their student conduct policies. Her experience also includes working with corporate clients on a broad range of litigation issues impacting the financial services sector, and educating companies on regulatory compliance and white collar crime.

Throughout 2016, the firm hired 17 attorneys across the Carolinas, reaching a total of 196 as of the end of the year.
