Nexsen Pruet strengthens Economic Development Practice, adding Todd Davidson and Justin Hoyle in Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC – Nexsen Pruet announced the addition of two new attorneys – Todd Davidson and Justin Hoyle – to its Greenville location in a move that will further strengthen the firm’s economic development, corporate and commercial real estate practice areas.

Davidson, who joined Nexsen Pruet as a Member of the firm, has nearly three decades of experience advising clients in matters involving corporate law, commercial real estate, economic incentives and banking.  Hoyle, who will be an Associate counsels businesses on economic incentives, commercial real estate, corporate and business planning, taxation and estate planning.

David Gossett, the Firm’s Managing Member for Professionals, said the addition of Davidson and Hoyle is a strategic move in the firm’s efforts to broaden the comprehensive capabilities of the Economic Development group.

Davidson has served in an outside general counsel role for hundreds of businesses in the region and assisted in the establishment of the first legally permitted moonshine manufacturing company in South Carolina.

Hoyle’s background includes a focus on entity formations, commercial real estate transactions, estate planning, taxation, and taxation conflict resolution.  He earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida, a law degree at the Charleston School of Law, and an undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University.

Prior to law school, Hoyle was an Infantry Captain in the U.S. Army and served a 15-month tour in Baqubah and Baghdad, Iraq as an Infantry Platoon Leader and an Infantry Company Executive Officer.
