GREENVILLE, SC – NEXT celebrates the continued growth of the Upstate’s dynamic entrepreneur ecosystem with the official launch of NEXT on Main.

The third floor of the Bank of America building downtown is now home to 20,000 square feet of unique space dedicated to the continued evolution of the technology ecosystem in Greenville. NEXT on Main offers tenants the same collaborative environment as the NEXT Innovation Center on Church Street, but in a compact, urban-centered location.

NEXT on Main features an open concept design with glass walls, multiple sized meeting spaces with movable doors and walls, as well as phone booths offering privacy and seclusion. Tenants will also enjoy direct access to parking and a shared workout facility and kitchen/café area with the new Aloft Greenville Hotel, opening in November.

NEXT on Main is currently home to nine entrepreneurial companies that are making a major impact on the South Carolina economy, including Servosity, which delivers mission-critical disaster recovery to Managed Service Providers and IT resellers. SCRA Technology Ventures will announce a significant investment in Servosity and celebrate its move to the new facility at a special NEXT on Main opening event tonight.

“It is very exciting and encouraging to see these kinds of results from our dynamic entrepreneur community,” said Michael Bolick, NEXT board chair and CEO of Selah Genomics. “NEXT on Main is yet another tool to attract companies to invest in the Greenville/Upstate area.”

“NEXT entrepreneurs are making a major impact on the South Carolina economy,” said Robert Hughes, project developer with Hughes Development. “NEXT on Main will allow us to take a lot of the things that we’ve learned at the NEXT Innovation Center that have been successful and apply them to a new audience.”

“We couldn’t be more pleased to celebrate the launch of NEXT on Main,” said John Moore, CEO of NEXT. “We thank our high-impact companies and partners in the community who collaborated with us to bring the success of the NEXT Innovation Center to this unique downtown space. We look forward to continuing to foster the development and success of the entrepreneur ecosystem in the Upstate.”
