Since 1985, Public Education Partners has worked to make public education better for all of Greenville County’s children. By collaborating with the community, educators, elected officials and local organizations, Public Education Partners has created initiatives that provide critical resources for children and teachers, strengthen schools and improve Greenville’s public education system.

Their work has had a big impact in Greenville County. Since its founding they have invested over $13,000,000 in Greenville’s students, teachers and schools. In, 2016, PEP’s programs have touched 84 schools, directly impacted over 5,000 teachers and reached over 76,000 students.

In 2019, they are tackling the teacher shortage issue head on by asking an important question. “What would it take to attract and retain the best teachers in the country to Greenville County.”
