Every child in every community in South Carolina does not have access to the same educational opportunities. In 2011, then Governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley,founded Original Six Foundation to help fill the gaps. The O6 Foundation works schools, teachers and community members to identify needs. Then they address them in practical ways by providing funding and implementing customized programs.
They monitor impact through child-by-child advancement. It is direct and focused work, and it is how lives and futures are changed.
