June 7, 2022

The Who’s on the Move, Non Profit Minute is an interview in support of the amazing impact that local non profits have on our communities.

We would like to thank our sponsors of this video series:

Randy Jackson, Executive Director, Phillis Wheatley Community Center

The Phillis Wheatley Community Center empowers individuals and families to grow to their fullest potential. It was founded by Hattie Logan Duckett, and her mission in life was to help uplift those less fortunate. Their main areas of focus are the arts, education and health and wellness.

In order to execute on their mission, the Phillis Wheatley Community Center works with many collaborative partners including:

  • SHARE – the Head Start program
  • Greenville County Rec – the after school program
  • Goodwill – youth employment
  • Greenville Technical College – the retiring citizens program

The Phillis Wheatley Community Center is celebrating its 102nd year serving the Greenville area and has recently launched a new fundraising campaign in the hopes to continue our service for another 100 years.
