The Nord Family Foundation awarded a $50,000 grant to the Mental Illness Recovery Center, Inc. (MIRCI), $30,000 to support Adult Services Programs and $20,000 to Youth Services Programs.

The grant will support the development of healthy living habits and independent living skills enabling individuals who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness to live and thrive independently.

“We are grateful for the continued support of the Nord Family Foundation for our adult and youth services. Through support from the Nord Family Foundation, MIRCI continues to improve the lives in our community and reduces cost to the healthcare system,” said MIRCI’s Executive Director, Julie Ann Avin.
