NuQool’s TeeBreeze™ Comfort System Debuts at Homeland Security Innovation Conference

May 30, 2009

The prototype for NuQool’s TeeBreeze Climate-Control System made its debut at the Homeland Security Innovation Conference, held in Charleston, SC on May 20.

NuQool’s system was chosen for display because the same unique features that make the TeeBreeze comfort system so desirable and beneficial for golf practice and outdoor dining are the same that make TeeBreeze a viable cooling or warming soultion for the military.  TeeBreeze is also beneficial for victims of hurricanes and any other situations where protection from sun, rain and cold are needed.

According to Lew Wayburn, inventor of TeeBreeze and co-founder of NuQool, Inc, “The TeeBreeze technology is based on five fundamental principles for temperature control and personal comfort:

1. Protect people from sun, rain and wind
2. Create a safe, gentle breeze and then
3. Cool or warm that breeze
4. Efficiently contain and re-circulate the cool or warmth
5. Don’t add humidity

The unique features that make our NuQool technology so special are the fourth and fifth characteristics: contain and re-circulate cool or warmth, and, especially, don’t add humidity.”

Adds Mr. Wayburn: “Other features that make our TeeBreeze model ideal for situations like these are that it is both portable and compact (it folds and stores easily ), it is easy to operate and maintain, and has minimal energy requirements and is readily compatible with today’s fuel cells.”

Another NuQool product,” says Mr. Wayburn, “is QoolAide™ the world’s only pollutant-free air conditioner that spot cools and spot warms areas outdoors without adding humidity.”
