Advanced Orthopedic and Soft Tissue Procedures Now Offered Locally
Oasis Animal Hospital and Emergency Center is proud to announce a major expansion of its surgical offerings with the addition of Dr. Cecilia Winthrop, DVM, a board-certified veterinary surgeon with over nine years of advanced surgical experience. With her arrival, Oasis now provides a comprehensive range of outpatient orthopedic and soft tissue procedures, making it the only locally owned veterinary hospital in Upstate to offer this level of care under one roof.
Dr. Winthrop brings a wealth of expertise in soft tissue, oncologic, cardio-thoracic, gastrointestinal, and orthopedic surgery. She earned her DVM from St. George’s University and holds advanced degrees from Creighton University and Colorado State University. Her training includes a surgical residency at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Michigan, along with internships in surgery and small animal medicine.
“We’re thrilled to bring this level of surgical care to our community,” said Dr. Atticus Mabry. “It means pets and their families can now receive expert treatment without needing to travel to a specialty center.”
With the addition of Dr. Winthrop, Oasis now offers a broader range of advanced surgical services to better serve their patients.
