October 10, Kolter Homes at The Ponds holds family-focused grand opening event

SUMMERVILLE, SC – Kolter Homes at The Ponds in Summerville, South Carolina invites families to enjoy a fall day filled with outdoor activities, music, paddling, kayaking and fishing at The Ponds from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on October 10, 2015.
During the event, families may tour five, new decorator-designed model homes, participate in hands-on stand-up-paddle-boarding and kayaking, learn about backyard birding and planting to attract pollinators, learn how to cast a line, and enjoy lunch from the Lowcountry’s favorite food trucks. High 5 Charleston will be playing live music for dancing and enjoyment.
Attendees will receive goodie bags filled with treats to enhance their out of doors activities. Door prizes will be given away during the event to registered attendees.
Demonstrations and education will be provided by Charleston SUP, The Charleston Angler, Summerville Family YMCA at The Ponds, and Audubon’s Francis Beidler Forest. Cast Iron Food Truck, Lunchbox Food Bus and Sweet Lulu’s Bakery on Wheels are providing delectable lunch and delights to attendees.
