Odyssey Online Learning announces rebranding efforts and name change

Formally known as Provost Academy, Odyssey Online Learning embraces change
Provost Academy is proud to announce that the school will change its name to Odyssey Online Learning, a tuition-free online education for high school students. Odyssey Online Learning plans to unveil its new brand including the logo, tagline and website before the 2016-2017 school year, which begins on August 15.
Odyssey Online Learning’s decision to acquire an updated brand is due to the commitment to stay ahead of today’s rapidly changing online educational environment. Education is the key to unlocking a student’s future and by adopting a new identity, Odyssey Online Learning provides a fresh, modern feel to reaching the success every student deserves.
The new brand, logo and website will represent Odyssey Online Learning’s mission and vision to support its evolution to leading in online education. Functionality and engagement is crucial for students and teachers to learn and excel throughout the school year. An easy-to-navigate website will allow for students and teachers to communicate effectively and easily locate resources needed to excel in school.
“The definition of Odyssey is a series of experiences that give knowledge or understanding to someone. We truly believe this name reflects our mission to create a community of diverse, passionate students and teachers,” said Stephanie Cagle, executive director of Odyssey Online Learning.
Unveiling a new brand, logo and website is just the beginning of all the great changes Odyssey Online Learning is embracing. “We’re excited to start off the school year with our new brand. 2016-2017 is expected to be one of our best years and with the overall brand and name change, there will be even more excitement to starting this school year,” Cagle stated.
Odyssey Online Learning has chosen to partner with Splash Omnimedia, an award winning branding and marketing firm from Lexington, SC for this and future projects. “We are excited about this partnership, as it will enable us to position our new brand in a very positive form,” said Cagle. The website will continue to evolve and will be launched before the end of the 2016 Calendar year.
