Ogletree Deakins Invests in Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC – November 6, 2013 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, has consolidated its three administrative offices in Greenville into a new operations center located in the Patewood Plaza in Greenville. The new location serves the administrative functions of the entire firm, which has 700 attorneys in 45 offices throughout the United States and in Europe. The move is a strong and lasting signal of Ogletree Deakins’ continued investment and commitment to Greenville, where the firm was co-founded in 1977.

The new administrative office, totaling 41,508 square feet and housing almost 200 people, is located at Patewood IV 50 International Drive. Patewood Plaza, a 70-acre master planned office campus, is owned by Highwoods Properties, Inc. Tim McCarthy, Elizabeth Cooper, Jim Thorp, and Matt Bowen of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Ogletree Deakins. Tom Brown of Easlan Capital represented Highwood Properties.
