Old Cigar Warehouse helps engaged couples book their wedding without a set date

In light of event cancellations and postponements that became synonymous with wedding planning in 2020, the Old Cigar Warehouse has developed an option for couples looking to continue the planning process even if they have not yet confirmed a wedding date.

The Date Can Wait package offers a valuable trade for just a $1,000 deposit to reserve one of Greenville’s most iconic event venues. The deposit is put towards a future date in exchange for a discount, valued also at $1,000, off of the rental fee and the opportunity to confirm a wedding date as far as eight months in advance. The date can be confirmed with the venue’s sales team, and a final contract would be created to outline remaining payments and other deadlines.

In addition to the rental fee discount, couples are also able to claim several other amenities or services as part of the Date Can Wait package including:

• Access to all in-house furniture and décor items
• Free uplighting in the Main Hall
• Access to the venue for a two-hour photoshoot
• Complimentary on-site parking
• Complimentary security guard for the first 150 guests
• Complimentary post-event cleaning service

“Because the package is available until the end of 2022, we hope that it will offer some relief for couples who have dealt with tough decisions surrounding their wedding day,” said Tammy Johnson, owner of the Old Cigar Warehouse. “We’ve already helped to reschedule dozens of weddings, but this option takes away the pressure of needing a new date picked out to work with our team.”

To take advantage of the Date Can Wait package, an individual must fill out an information form and provide the deposit online via the Old Cigar Warehouse website. From there, a sales team member will send a confirmation email with planning tips and some available wedding dates in the coming months.
