Old Cigar Warehouse launches one of the first all-inclusive wedding packages in the upstate

October 25, 2019

The Old Cigar Warehouse has launched their Platinum Wedding Package, one of the first all-inclusive packages in the Upstate.

The package pricing is simple. It is broken down into a base price, and a per person price. The Old Cigar Warehouse will keep track of your vendors and when you need to submit payment, which can be one of the most difficult parts of the planning process.

The base price of $16,000 includes room rental, wedding planning, photography, DJ, floral design, rehearsal, parking, set-up and break-down, security, up-lighting, officiant, and graphic design package. From the baseline price, couples will then add on a per person price of $88-190 per guest to determine the price of food, beverage, glassware, décor, and cake.

“On average, couples spend 250 hours planning their wedding. That is equivalent to taking 6 weeks off work,” said Tammy Johnson, owner of High Spirits Hospitality, a parent company of The Old Cigar Warehouse’s. “For this reason, our team has designed and developed the Platinum Package; when choosing this package, you gain a team of people that are with you every step of the way.”

Built in 1882 and originally used as a warehouse to store cotton and cigars, The Old Cigar Warehouse was renovated in 2013 as an event venue. After a careful and detailed restoration, the building is now one of the most iconic and historic landmarks in Greenville. The Old Cigar Warehouse is highlighted within the WeddingWire Network, receiving the Couple’s Choice Award for Ceremony and Reception Space five years in a row.

“At The Old Cigar Warehouse, we believe that you do not get married to have a wedding, you get married to have a life,” said Johnson. “With that belief, we promise to do our best to make the process of planning a wedding one that is full of celebration and joy, not overwhelming stress.”
