On Tap this Weekend in Laurens County

The weekend is almost here and once again there’s much to do right here in Laurens County.

Here’s a run down of some events and things to do that we know about. Are we missing something? Let us know about events in the future so we can make sure to include them.

Friday, June 25^th:

• Music in the Garden at Verdin’s Too is bringing blue grass music to the garden. The concert starts at 7 and will feature the BJUGrass group. Food trucks and ice cream available starting at 6 pm. Bring a chair and enjoy music in our open-air garden.
• Friday Night Live with Auragami – This Friday Auragami takes the outdoor stage on the square in Laurens. Auragami is a four-piece eclectic jam band based in Greenville, SC. Click here for more information.
• Cool off inside with popcorn and a movie (see above for link to Capitol Theatre current movie. Click here to see what is showing.

Saturday, June 26^th:

• Laurens Farmers Market – (8 am – 12 noon) Vendors will be set up on the Roma side of the Square so grab a coffee from the Coffee Roost and shop all the great deals at the farmers market.
• After shopping at the farmers market grab coffee at the Coffee Roost and check out the shops on the square.
• If the weather cooperates, get out and enjoy some local hiking trails. The Laurens County Trails Association website has a list of local trails (click here) and be sure to check out the newest trail, Millers Fork Trail which includes a nice water feature and some much needed shade on hot days.
• Shop local including some great stores in Laurens and Clinton and be sure to stop by the Antique Pop-Up Shop in Clinton for some great deals.

• Lullabies – An Evening of Music for Cello and Organ – Westminster Presbyterian Church is pleased to present our next concert, “Lullabies, a Concert of Music with Organ and Cello” in our sanctuary on Saturday, June 26, at 7:00 pm. Come away from the stress of the world and spend an evening with friends at this soul-soothing concert. Click here for more information.
• Live music at Palmetto Brothers Dispensary – This week Palmetto Brothers Dispensary brings you Tanner Burch. With an Outlaw Country sound Tanner writes about his life struggles, failures, love and a deep look into the mind of a blue collared worker. Click herefor more information.
