Palmetto Health Foundation's 20th Annual Festival of Trees

COLUMBIA, SC – November 21-23, 2008 – The holidays were kicked off with Palmetto Health Foundation’s 20th Annual Festival of Trees November 21-23 at the new, freestanding Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital located at 7 Medical Park, Palmetto Health Richland, in Columbia.

Festival of Trees was a weekend celebration featuring a three-day silent auction of decorated trees, wreaths, garlands and centerpieces. Cookies for Santa platters painted by current and former patients of Children’s Hospital will also be featured silent auction items. Silent auction proceeds benefit Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital.

Festival of Trees began with a preview gala on Friday, November 21 at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. Those in attendance had the opportunity to bid on items during the silent auction that will begin that evening.

Festival of Trees was open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, November 22-23 at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. Families enjoyed tree and wreath displays, children’s choirs and other entertainment as well as photos with Santa.
