Palmetto Health announces Thomas W. Schultz, D.O., has joined Palmetto Heart.
Schultz is board certified in interventional cardiovascular medicine, cardiovascular medicine and internal medicine. He is skilled in adult transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, percutaneous coronary intervention and peripheral diagnostics.
Schultz earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Athens, Ohio. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in general cardiology at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, Illinois. He completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at University of Connecticut at Hartford Hospital, Hartford.
