COLUMBIA, SC – Parker Poe’s Business Incentives & Investment Group recently assisted German-based automotive supplier Anton Häring KG with a multi-state site-selection project in the southeastern United States. After considering several locations, the company selected Hart County, Georgia for its first U.S. headquarters and production campus.

Anton Häring KG is a leading global manufacturer of precision components and subassemblies for the automotive industry. Häring plans to invest $54 million and create 400 new jobs over a five-year period. The U.S. headquarters and base of operations will occupy a 196,000-square-foot facility as well as a separate training center and detached dining hall.

“Anton Häring KG is a globally respected company hailing from one of Germany’s most technically advanced regions, Baden-Württemberg. We are very excited for this world-class company and enjoyed working with the company’s management team and the Häring family to assist them in this strategically important project for their company,” said Sam Moses, Partner at Parker Poe and co-chair of the firm’s Business Incentives & Investment Group. “Additionally, it was a pleasure to work with all of the state and local officials and other stakeholders in this project from various communities, all of whom did a great job in showing why the Southeast is one of the most attractive places in the world to do business.”
