Participate in Richland Library’s 2021 Summer Learning Challenge

May 26, 2021

With the extended holiday weekend arriving and the school year drawing to a close, Richland Library is announcing the kick-off to our annual Summer Learning Challenge. Starting Tuesday, June 1, we’re committed to being your trusted source for learning over the summer.

This year, the library is providing unique ways to learn, create and share by finding opportunities to bring the inside out and take the outside in. Earn points and win prizes by:

  • reading for 30 minutes
  • completing a learning activity of your choice
  • or attending a library program

If you need recommendations or ideas to get started, visit us online. Also, look for special guest appearances during some of our online programs throughout June, July and August, thanks to our partnership with WLTX.

Be sure to track your progress on a paper record, which is accessible at any library location or richlandlibrary.com/summer, and celebrate your completion of the Summer Learning Challenge with us online, using #ilearnbecause.

With a goal of keeping minds active and engaged over a three-month period to combat the summer slide, the Summer Learning Challenge runs through Sunday, August 15.
