Paula Hite appointed to Midlands Technical College Commission

Paula Hite of Lexington County has been appointed to serve as a commissioner on the Midlands Technical College Commission.

The Midlands Technical College Commission is comprised of 13 leading citizens from Lexington, Richland, and Fairfield Counties who are appointed by the governor, upon the recommendation of their respective legislative delegations, to serve as trustees for the college.

“I look forward to working with Paula on the MTC Board,” said MTC Commission Chair Robby Wilkins. “She brings great skill sets and experience to the board, and will be invaluable in our decision-making progress.”

Hite is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Nursing.  She is a past board member of Lexington-Richland School District 5, and is the current president of the District 5 Foundation for Educational Excellence.
