Pawmetto Lifeline launches 2016 Pin Ups & Pets Calendar, Harley Haven & Studio O2 host launch parties

December 8, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Pawmetto Lifeline announced that their year-long collaboration with local Roller Derby organizations has concluded and resulted in an extended 14-month calendar to highlight and promote the mission of saving homeless pets. “We are so grateful and proud of the Roller Derby squads, the Columbia QuadSquad and Richland County Regulators, and the companion pet owners for their hard work in fundraising for this project,” stated Denise Wilkinson, CEO of Pawmetto Lifeline.

“They all truly support and understand our mission, and we are thrilled to promote our calendar and their teamwork. The Derby Girls are partnered with our top 12 companion pets that competed for a place in the calendar by garnering support from family and friends. There were more than 50 contestants in the calendar competition and everyone involved worked very hard in order to support our life saving mission.”

Pawmetto Lifeline is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit animal rescue organization with a plan to end pet overpopulation in the Midlands through education, legislation, spay/neuter programs, and responsible pet adoptions. Pawmetto Lifeline’s long-term goal is to transform the Midlands into a no-kill community, meaning no healthy adoptable pet is euthanized simply because it is homeless. For more information, please visit www.pawmettolifeline.org.
