July 24, 2021

CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College athletics has announced Jared Brugmann as the program’s new head strength and conditioning coach.

“I’m extremely excited about being the new head strength and conditioning coach for Presbyterian College athletics,” Brugmann said. “I can’t thank (Athletic Director) Rob Acunto, (Associate AD for Sports Medicine) Nelson Jones and the rest of the search committee enough for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. I look forward to working with all current and future Blue Hose student-athletes!”

Brugmann first came to Presbyterian in 2020 and served as the director of strength and conditioning for the Blue Hose basketball programs during the 2020-21 season.

Prior to arriving at PC, Brugmann spent two years as a graduate assistant at Northern State University, primarily working with NSU’s cross country, swimming, track and field and basketball programs. Before his time at Northern State, Brugmann also had stints at South Dakota State, Creighton and his alma mater, Nebraska-Omaha.

Brugmann is a two-time graduate of the University of Nebraska-Omaha, having earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2019 and a master’s degree in Sport Performance and Leadership in 2020.
