GREENVILLE, SC – January 30, 2012 – Performance QSA, one of the largest personal training facilities in the Upstate, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan McKie to Director of Performance & Chief Operating Officer and Jason Nutting to Director of Bootcamp Operations, as well as the addition of Evan Barr as a Performance Coach.

“We are excited about making these internal changes to take Performance QSA to the next level as we continually strive to provide a premier level of service to our clients,” said Vaughn Bethell, Founder and CEO of Performance QSA.  “Ryan and Jason have proved themselves as integral members of the QSA team, both empowering clients in the gym and helping to streamline day-to-day operations in the office.  Evan brings a great deal of experience working with collegiate athletes to the team.”

McKie’s history with QSA began as a high school client training to play college football. He attended Furman University where he played wide receiver and earned a degree in Health and Exercise Science.  McKie worked part-time at QSA during college, leading to a full-time training position.  His experience ranges from one-on-one training with professional athletes to training a variety of high school, club and college sports teams. He is certified by the International Youth Conditioning Association as a High School Strength & Conditioning Specialist and by Combine 360 as a Combine Trainer (Level 3).  As Director of Performance & Chief Operating Officer, McKie will develop, manage and maintain results-oriented, performance enhancement training services for student-athletes, competitive athletes and adult amateur athletes.

He is certified by the International Sports Science Association as a Certified Fitness Trainer and by the International Youth Conditioning Association as a High School Strength & Conditioning Specialist. As Director of Bootcamp Operations, Nutting will plan and direct motivating, empowering and creative women’s-only bootcamp classes to accommodate a range of fitness levels. In his new position, he will develop, manage and maintain results-oriented, structured and disciplined bootcamp style classes in a manner that ensures safety and facilitates performance towards health and fitness goals.

Both McKie and Nutting will act as representatives of Performance QSA in the local community for athletic performance enhancement, fitness and nutrition through outreach, marketing, sales and educational activities to build a strong client base for Performance QSA and its divisions.
