Peter and The Starcatcher auditions

October 10, 2016

The Greenville Little Theatre (GLT) is holding open auditions for Peter and The Starcatcher November 6th!

A theatrical musical based on the best-selling novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, this magical play takes you on a wild journey. Using the power of music and storytelling, it chronicles the adventures of an orphan, soon to be called Peter Pan, and Molly, a girl charged to protect a parcel of stardust from falling into the wrong hands. A dozen actors play more than a hundred unforgettable characters employing ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of the imagination.

Roles are available for 11 men – age 17 and up.

Auditions will be scheduled in 15-minute intervals beginning at 4:30 pm.

To schedule an audition time, please call Emily Grove at 864-233-6238 or email emily@greenvillelittletheatre.org.

Auditions will consist of readings, so please familiarize yourself with the story and be prepared to read with an appropriate British dialect.  This is a play with music, so be prepared to sing a song a capella.

One copy of the play will be at the theatre for anyone who would like to read it in advance.

Auditions will be held in Magill Rehearsal Hall at the rear of the building.

Peter and the Starcatcher will be directed by GLT Artistic Director Allen McCalla.

Rehearsals begin Monday January 2, 2017.  Performances run February 24 – March 12, 2017.
