Physician Network welcomes three new practices

ANDERSON, SC – January 3, 2011 – Cardiology Associates of Anderson, Carolina Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Consultants and Lakeside Family Medicine today joined the AnMed Health Physician Network.

Cardiology Associates of Anderson, the practice of Dr. John D. Ware (pictured left), is now AnMed Health John D. Ware III, M.D. Dr. Ware is a board-certified cardiologist. He graduated from medical school and residency at Emory University, and has been practicing in the Anderson area for more than 20 years. 

Carolina Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Consultants is now AnMed HealthPulmonary and Sleep Medicine. The practice is home to Drs. Stephen H.Hand, Gowdhami Mohan, Charles A. Thompson and William W. Walker. Allfour doctors are board certified. The practice specializes in caring forpatients with lung disease and sleep disorders.

Along the same lines, Lakeside Family Medicine, the practice of Drs. Elizabeth Boyer and Melody Franks, is now AnMed Health Lakeside Family Medicine. Both doctors are graduates of East Carolina University School of Medicine and the AnMed Health Family Medicine Residency Program.

The AnMed Health Physician Network has seen significant growth in the past two years, adding five practices in 2010 alone. With the addition of AnMed Health John D. Ware III, M.D., AnMed Health Pulmonary and Sleep Consultants and AnMed Health Lakeside Family Medicine, the physician network is home to 29 offices and 80 physicians.
