Physicians Choice Laboratory Services Receives its Initial ISO 15189 Accreditation from A2LA

ROCK HILL, SC – Physicians Choice Laboratory Services (PCLS) is pleased to announce that they have been granted ISO 15189 accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), after a thorough assessment and review of its quality management system and competence to clinical laboratory testing. PCLS is the seventh lab and the first toxicology focused lab in the United States to be A2LA accredited to this Quality Standard.

This achievement of A2LA accreditation demonstrates an organization’s competence to manage and perform the activities defined by its A2LA Scope of Accreditation (A2LA Certificate 3556.01). These activities include clinical testing in the fields of Chemistry, Cytogenetics, and Cytology.
