Playgrounds and Paths Reopen as Gracely Park Tree Maintenance Concludes
May 25, 2026Local families and outdoor enthusiasts can officially head back to one of Simpsonville’s favorite recreational spots.
The City of Simpsonville announced that the playground and all previously blocked portions of Gracely Park have officially reopened to the public following the successful completion of necessary tree removal and maintenance operations.
Sections of the park had been temporarily restricted to ensure visitor safety while crews worked to manage and remove select trees on the property. With the safety hazards cleared, the city has fully restored access to the popular playground equipment and surrounding green spaces just as summer activity begins to peak.
Local officials expressed gratitude to the community for their patience and cooperation during the brief maintenance window, emphasizing the importance of keeping the area’s public spaces safe and vibrant.
The park’s full reopening offers a timely option for parched lawns and neighborhood kids looking to burn off some energy, especially with the region catching a refreshing break from the recent dry spell.
