March 8, 2013

GREENVILLE, SC – March 8, 2013 – Elizabeth Yarbrough, President of The Doctor’s Bag, and Somer Lorenz, Administrative Director of Marketing and Engagement for Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, presented last month at the Tenth National Physician Strategies Summit held in Orlando, Florida. Yarbrough and Lorenz presented a case study on how hospitals and physicians can establish powerful, multi-integrated web communication strategies. Their presentation, titled Creating a Successful Employed Physician Referral Management and Digital Communications Program, offered solutions on how to address challenges generated from an increased number of hospital-employed physicians.

This year the Physicians Strategies Summit focused on Driving Performance and Value. The Summit attracted many of healthcare’s prominent thought-leaders and featured presentations by chief officers, key administrators and physician executives from some of the country’s most renowned hospital systems. Thought-provoking sessions promoted constructive hospital and physician relations by addressing the issues currently affecting the American healthcare industry.

We hope that our programs will stimulate more accountable patient care and offer increased organization and efficiency to healthcare providers. This summit allowed us to share solutions that will ultimately change the way hospitals and physicians interact with one another, said Yarbrough.
