Prisma Health and Habitat for Humanity collaborate for new home building blitz

On Thursday, Nov. 10, Prisma Health and Habitat for Humanity will again partner on a new record-breaking home-building blitz, this time helping to build nine homes across five counties. Thursday’s Prisma Health Partnership Day will target Clemson, Greenville, Seneca, Sumter and West Columbia.
- Construction sites include four in Greenville, two in Columbia and one each in Clemson Sumter, and Seneca. Media are invited to visit the construction sites between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. on Thursday for on-site interviews or photo/video needs.
- Prisma Health hospital executive leaders will be part of the volunteer teams at each site, please coordinate with media relations contact for interviews.
- Habitat build volunteers at the different sites include the future homeowners, Habitat site leaders and team members from across Prisma Health.
The event is “rain or shine,” however, in the event of severe weather that threatens the safety of volunteers and sites, a local Habitat team may find it necessary to cancel volunteer activities. That determination will occur between 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 11/9 and 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, 11/10.
