Prisma Health and UnitedHealthcare expand Medicare Advantage care provider network; commercial relationship renewed

Prisma Health and UnitedHealthcare have expanded their network relationship, giving South Carolinians enrolled in UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans access to Prisma Health-Midlands facilities and physicians in Columbia and statewide.
Prisma Health and UnitedHealthcare also renewed their network relationship for employer-sponsored and individual plans for Prisma Health facilities and its physicians, ensuring continued access to all of Prisma Health’s facilities and physicians across South Carolina.
The expanded relationship provides more than 130,000 Medicare Advantage plan participants with access to all of Prisma Health’s facilities, physicians and other care providers who share UnitedHealthcare’s commitment to improving access to quality care, enhancing clinical outcomes, lowering costs of care and creating an exceptional patient experience.
