Prisma Health Midlands Foundation inducts Randy and the late Mary Dailey as Fellows

February 12, 2020

Prisma Health Midlands Foundation has inducted Randy and the late Mary Dailey as Fellows. The Fellows distinction honors individuals whose contributions of time, talent and resources advance the Foundation’s mission and dedication to improving health care in our community.

For more than 35 years, Randy and the late Mary Dailey have given selflessly to Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands. Mary, who died in 2019, served on the Children’s Hospital board for many years before serving as chair in 2013. In 2007, during the Children’s Hospital Capital Campaign to renovate and expand the facility, Mary secured a $1 million gift from her friend, Tom Bates, who named the Tom Bates Day Hospital at Children’s Hospital. This gift remains Children’s Hospital’s single largest individual gift. In 2014, Mary began her service on the Prisma Health Midlands Foundation board. Both Mary and Randy were founding members of the Champions Society, an annual giving society benefiting Children’s Hospital. They also supported Festival of Trees, the signature fundraising event benefiting Children’s Hospital, each of the 30 years it has been held.

Randy and the late Mary Dailey join other community leaders who have been named Prisma Health Midlands Foundation Fellows since 2001.
