Prisma Health Midlands Foundation postpones two signature fundraising events benefiting Prisma Health—Midlands

March 13, 2020

Prisma Health Midlands Foundation will postpone two signature fundraising events benefiting Prisma Health—Midlands. Foundation leaders consulted with clinical leaders of Prisma Health—Midlands and made the decision to postpone these events out of an abundance of caution as our community faces concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The Drive golf tournament, originally scheduled for April 2, will be rescheduled to a later time this year. KEMOPALOOZA, originally scheduled for April 30, will also be rescheduled for a later time this year.

“As we face this public health emergency, we’re taking all the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy,” said Samuel Tenenbaum, president, Prisma Health Midlands Foundation. “We’re committed to do our part to help protect our community, donors and supporters. We’re also fully supporting Prisma Health in their efforts to prevent the spread of the virus in our community.”
