Prisma Health Midlands Foundation’s GivingTuesday campaign will bring comfort, joy, hope and love to Prisma Health—Midlands patients and families this holiday season. GivingTuesday, a global day of generosity, will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020. The opportunity to give is open now at givePHMF.org.
GivingTuesday areas of giving:
Critical Care Ambulance for Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands
Donations will help fund a new critical care ambulance to transport critically premature babies and severely ill children from a 16-county area of S.C. to Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands. The ambulance will provide the safest environment for the most vulnerable children and bring comfort and peace of mind to their families.
Holiday gifts for patients at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands
Bring holiday joy to children who will spend the holidays at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands. Donations will help the hospital provide toys and gifts for patients.
Support for those facing cancer in our community, through the Bernice Smith Fund
Bernice Smith spent 40 years as an Oncology nurse, and she would often reach into her own pocket to help patients facing cancer, to give them hope. Donations to the Bernice Smith Fund will help provide medications and medical equipment for Prisma Health Cancer Centers patients in need.
Help for patients and their families, where it’s needed the most
Health care needs are ever-changing, and sometimes, emergent needs arise. Donations to the area of greatest need will extend love to patients and their families and allow Prisma Health—Midlands to use them where they’re needed the most.
