Prisma Health Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center opens new office in Greer

Prisma Health Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center has opened a new location in Greer to better serve patients across the Upstate region. The office is located on the Prisma Health Greer campus and is now open for appointments.
South Carolina has some of the highest diabetes rates in the nation, which also means that it has a higher rate of diabetes-related foot wounds. Approximately 504,000 people in South Carolina, or 13% of the adult population, have diagnosed diabetes, according to the American Diabetes Association. An additional 123,000 people in South Carolina have diabetes but don’t know it, greatly increasing their health risk.
But quick care can significantly improve outcomes, prevent limb loss and help maintain mobility.
