Prisma Health’s Tina Myers recognized on Becker’s “Women in Health IT to know” list

Prisma Health congratulates Tina Myers, vice president of application services, who has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2026 “Women in Health IT to know” list, which highlights 170 leaders nationwide advancing innovation and impact through healthcare technology.
Myers leads the strategy, implementation and optimization of enterprise clinical and business applications across Prisma Health, South Carolina’s largest healthcare system. She oversees electronic health record platforms and integrated clinical systems across a complex, multi-hospital network, with a focus on standardization and usability that reduces complexity for providers and improves workflows supporting better patient experiences.
Her work has contributed to systemwide improvements in safety and quality, including helping Prisma Health earn multiple “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades.
Myers joined Prisma Health in 2019 following 14 years at Cerner, where she held progressive leadership roles including director and consulting services executive, senior integration architect and senior solution architect. She brings enterprise-scale expertise to one of the Southeast’s largest health systems and continues to advance initiatives that enhance care delivery and operational efficiency.
In addition to her role at Prisma Health, Myers serves on the board of Palmetto Care Connections, supporting efforts to expand telehealth access across South Carolina.
Becker’s Hospital Review noted that honorees on this year’s list are “harnessing the full power of health IT to drive change that is meaningful and measurable,” including streamlining administrative processes, improving workflow standardization and enhancing patient safety and equity.
The Becker’s editorial team accepted nominations and curated the list to recognize women whose leadership is helping healthcare systems become more effective, efficient and patient-centered.
