Public invited to virtual open house for GVL2040

June 15, 2020

The City of Greenville is hosting its fourth open house for GVL2040, the City’s comprehensive planning process, June 15 – 19. Unlike the previous three open house events, the fourth GVL2040 open house is virtual and community members have several days to participate and provide feedback at their convenience.

Similar to the in-person events, the virtual open house features four information “stations” where participants can learn what has taken place since the project launched last summer and provide input on important questions and choices regarding Greenville’s future growth and development. The Virtual Open House begins today at https://publicinput.com/GVL2040openhouse4. The deadline to participate is Friday, June 19 at 6 p.m.

Participants will also have an opportunity to interact with members of the consultant team from czb and Ingalls Planning & Design during a live virtual meeting on Wednesday, June 17 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. A link to the meeting is available on the City meeting calendar.

Public input and participation are critical to the success of the comprehensive plan and the GVL2040 project team is committed to providing meaningful community engagement opportunities. For more information, contact Courtney Powell, Senior Development Planner, at 467-4482 or [email protected].
