PURE Theatre to produce Southeastern Regional Premiere of This Random World by Stephen Dietz

February 7, 2018

Friday, March 9th, 2018, marks the Southeastern Regional premiere of This Random World by award-winning American playwright, Stephen Dietz. The fourth production of Season 15 at PURE Theatre, This Random World mines the comedy of missed connections, asking the serious question of how often we travel parallel paths through the world without noticing. From an ailing woman who plans one final trip, to her daughter planning one great escape and her son falling prey to a prank gone wrong, this funny, intimate, and heartbreaking play explores the lives that may be happening just out of reach of our own.

This Random World opens Friday, March 9th, 2018, and runs through Saturday, March 31st, 2018. Regular performance times are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm with an added matinee performance at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 24th, 2018. PURE will offer Pay-What-You-Will performances on Thursday, March 8th and Wednesday, March 14th. The Halsey Post-Show Talkback is Thursday, March 15th at 7:30 pm.
