Raiders Fill in a Schedule Blank

October 21, 2020

Teams have had to play musical chairs with football scchedules this year due to COVID-19.

On Oct. 30, Laurens and Clinton have had to postpone the county championship game. At the beginning of the season, Clinton couldn’t play Union County because of the Yellow Jackets being under quarantine. Since Union County is a Region 3-3A opponent, the Red Devils must pay a visit to Union instead of playing Laurens at home.

In all likelihood, the Laurens-Clinton game will be played on Nov. 13.

After launching a statewide search, the Raiders found an Oct. 30 opponent in Gilbert, a Lexington County that has won its first four games. Read all about it at Laurens County Sports.
