Rebekah Faulk Named New Director of Marketing & Public Relations for Trident Health

N. CHARLESTON – Rebekah Faulk has been named director of Marketing & Public Relations for Trident Health.

In this role, Faulk will serve as an advocate and spokesperson aligning public relations efforts with corporate marketing to maintain
and enhance the Trident brand and the corporation’s overall market position. She will provide leadership to help enhance marketing and branding efforts through the development of social media strategies, internal and external communication plans and website management. In addition, Faulk will promote the hospital system’s services through positive relationships with media representatives, marketing vendors, staff members and physicians, providing support for all its multiple entities. Faulk replaces Bob Behanian, who resigned from the position.

A native of Augusta, Georgia, Faulk brings nearly 10 years of experience to the position. Prior to joining Trident Health, she served as manager of internal communications at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. She also worked as a public relations specialist at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia for nearly four years. Faulk is the former food columnist for the Statesboro Herald and a leading Georgia food blogger.

An alumna of Georgia Southern University, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in public relations in 2005. Faulk is a member of the Georgia Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations and the Georgia Educational Advancement Council, Inc. She resides in West Ashley.
