Rebuild Upstate adds new Community Engagement Specialist

Cody Wright has joined the Rebuild Upstate team as its new community engagement specialist.

Wright is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Liberty University. Prior to joining the Rebuild Upstate team, Wright worked for The LOT Project as a development director. As development director, Wright coordinated weekly meal providers, scheduled volunteers, supervised the donation process and led a group of nearly 1,000 volunteers annually.

Wright is also a member of Leadership Anderson, class of 37. He serves on the board of directors for The Asher House, and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Anderson.

“Cody is bringing a wealth of enthusiasm and experience into this role,” said Jake Beaty, CEO of Rebuild Upstate. “We’re excited to see him help our team in advancing the mission of Rebuild Upstate.”
