Rebuild Upstate adds new Community Engagement Specialist

June 22, 2021

Ryan Pendergraph has joined Rebuild Upstate as the AmeriCorps Senior RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) Project Director.

Pendergraph graduated from the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. For more than 20 years, Pendergraph has served a multitude of churches in positions ranging from Director of Student Ministries to Pastor. His passion for helping the community extends beyond Rebuild Upstate; Pendergraph serves on the board for Meals on Wheels and teaches renew classes at Greer Relief.

“Ryan brings great experience and community connections to Rebuild Upstate,” said Chris Manley, Rebuild Upstate’s founder and President/CEO. “We’re very excited to have him on the team.”

At Rebuild Upstate, Pendergraph will focus on developing and operating the RSVP program in Anderson County to engage area residents 55 and older in the organization’s mission. This program is made possible through Rebuild Upstate’s first federal grant award.
