Rebuild Upstate to host annual Wake Up With Rebuild events on August 21 and September 3, 2026

Rebuild Upstate, a local nonprofit dedicated to preserving safe and affordable housing for individuals and families in need, is hosting its annual breakfast events, titled Wake Up With Rebuild, on August 21 in Greenville and September 3 in Anderson.
Wake Up With Rebuild is a free awareness breakfast hosted annually by Rebuild Upstate, a 20-year-old nonprofit that has repaired more than 1,900 homes in Upstate, South Carolina. Guests are invited to attend and learn about the value of home preservation, all while enjoying breakfast, coffee, and fellowship.
The Greenville Wake Up With Rebuild event will happen at Larkins Sawmill, with breakfast catered by Larkins Catering & Events and custom coffee drinks provided by Clement Coffee. Speaking during the event will be Tina Belge, City of Greenville council member. The Anderson Wake Up With Rebuild event will take place at The Bleckley Station, with breakfast provided by Cracker Barrel and custom coffee drinks provided by The Bumble Bean. Speaking during this event will be Tim Self, Executive Director of AnMed Health Foundation.
After the event, attendees will have a clear idea of the need for home repair programs in the Upstate and how they can help. Rebuild Upstate, alongside key stakeholders, is committed to ensuring communities have the critical resources they need, like safe homes that people can afford.
“We’re excited to be hosting two Wake Up With Rebuild events again this year,” said Rebuild Upstate CEO Jake Beaty. “We want to spread as much awareness as possible about our mission so that we continue to serve even more homeowners. We hope you’ll join us for one or the other, or both.”
