Recent University President Named Vice Chairman of Search Firm, Loree Newmyer Sulkowicz, LLC

COLUMBIA, SC – October 14, 2008 – Andrew A. Sorensen, Ph.D., who retired last summer as President of The University of South Carolina, has been named vice chairman of Loree Newmyer Sulkowicz, LLC, an executive search firm headquartered in New York City.

Dr. Sorensen, who remains a professor at the USC Medical School, will direct the firm’s efforts in the academic and related institutional sectors.  In addition, he will focus on board-level searches for both public and private organizations.

Loree Newmyer Sulkowicz (www.LNSsearch.com) was formed in May, two months before Dr. Sorensen retired.
