Red Ventures breaking ground on $90 million campus expansion in Lancaster County

Investment expected to create 1,500 new jobs

LANCASTER, SC – Red Ventures, a technology-enabled sales and digital marketing company, has broken ground on the expansion of its existing Lancaster County operations. The company is investing $90 million to construct a new facility, named RV4, and generate approximately 1,500 new jobs.

Established more than 15 years ago, Red Ventures relocated its headquarters from North Carolina to Lancaster County, South Carolina in 2009. Today, boasting one of the nation’s largest technology-enabled platforms for growing sales and marketing businesses, the firm employs more than 2,200 workers in South Carolina.

The new RV4 structure, which will be comprised of three interconnected buildings, will include a sales center, learning and development center, a six-story office tower and two parking decks. In addition, Red Ventures plans to invest in the infrastructure in and around the Lancaster County campus, including the construction of a new road from S.C. Highway 160 and the widening of Red Ventures Drive, as well as investing in new water, sewer and power capacity for the facility.

Expected to be complete by mid-2017, the expansion will bring Red Ventures’ employee capacity to 4,500, more than doubling the size of the company’s current S.C. workforce.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits, as well as a $550,000 grant to Lancaster County to assist with the costs of road improvements related to the project.

“Lancaster County is excited to see the growth that Red Ventures has gone through over the short time that it has been in South Carolina. We look forward to seeing this RV4 expansion and appreciate the continued investment in both capital and in the accompanying workforce,”  said Lancaster County Council Chairman Bob Bundy.
