Regional Finance raises over $90,000 in support of the American Heart Association Upstate Heart Walk

Regional Finance, a subsidiary of Regional Management Corp., raised more than $90,000 in support of the American Heart Association’s Upstate Heart Walk through its community outreach program, Regional Reach. The company served as a presenting sponsor in this year’s event and participated in the walk on Sunday, April 23, in downtown Greenville, South Carolina.
“The Regional Finance team’s ongoing support has been an invaluable asset to our organization,” said Michaela Salinas, Director of Development at American Heart Association, Upstate. “Thanks to their consistent contributions, we are closer to ending heart disease and stroke through our life-saving mission.”
With the support of employees, customers, and business partners, Regional Finance has built a four-year legacy of championing the Association’s cause. To date, the company has raised over $350,000, which maintains its position as one of the Association’s top financial supporters nationwide. This year, the company was represented by 357 walkers participating across 360 branch locations in 19 states.
As part of the lead-up to this year’s walk, the Regional Reach team developed a series of heart-healthy activities for employees to participate in to cultivate and build awareness around heart health. These events ranged from Walking Wednesdays, which encouraged employees to get out and walk with friends and colleagues, to the Week of Wellness, which featured a different healthy activity each day of the week leading up to the Heart Walk.
“We are thrilled to continue supporting the American Heart Association and their critical mission to end heart disease and stroke,” said Robert Beck, President and CEO of Regional Finance. “Giving back to our community is a core value of Regional Finance, and our team is passionate about lending a helping hand wherever we can.”
Participation in the Upstate Heart Walk is part of Regional Finance’s broader initiative to be a positive partner in the communities they serve. Through the company’s community outreach program, Regional Reach, Regional Finance supports several nonprofits both at the national and local levels. In 2022 and 2023, Regional made contributions to several worthy organizations, including Junior Achievement, Jumpstart – Financial Smarts for Students, Upstate Warrior Solutions, One Tree Planted, National Diversity Council, Girls Who Code, Harvest Hope, Meals on Wheels, Hope Center for Children, as well as the American Heart Association.
